Vegan keto pancakes are the standard food for the vegan soul. I mean, when was the last time you had one? And as it turns out with this category of food, it is usually incredibly high in calories, bad fat, carbohydrates, and just all the things that are bad for you. So, before going on to becoming vegan, breakfast pancakes, well, pretty much days are over. Let us try to figure out how to make them taste good as well!
One of the best things about vegan keto pancakes is that they can be made by almost anyone. If you can make a pancake, you can make pancakes. The recipes tend to call for different types of bread, which means if you have trouble finding the right kind of bread at the store, which can be a real bummer, or if you are a vegan, which is even more bummer, you can use coconut flour instead. This makes the whole thing easier and means that you will not feel deprived when it comes to eating the delicious meal.
It is really important for any healthy diet to include some type of protein, whether it is in the form of nuts or legumes. Many vegan keto pancakes recipes will actually call for almond or soy milk instead. If you can tolerate it, I highly recommend that you use this type of milk over most dairy-based beverages, particularly if you drink it cold. As for egg-free products, eggs are naturally yolks anyway, so you do not need to worry about omelets (although I would highly recommend using them, even if you have vegan pancakes – just make sure they come out tasty and delicious).
In addition to using soy milk or almond or other non-dairy substitutes, you will also want to stay away from anything that is heavy, such as mayonnaise. In my opinion, any ingredient with oil should be avoided, especially if you are planning on cooking the vegan keto pancakes on a hot surface. All three of the above items add grease, which is not going to help you at all. If possible, cook the breakfast items on the bottom rack of your oven or stove.
Make Better Batter
Another important part of making the vegan keto pancakes is the mix you will need to make the cake batter. If you do not have almond flour, for instance, you can find it at a local health food store or order it online. In addition to the mix, you will also need an additional two tablespoons of brown rice flour, a teaspoon of vanilla, a quarter ounce of coconut oil, baking powder, a quarter teaspoon of baking soda, and a half of a cup of maple syrup.
Once you have gathered these ingredients, you simply put them in a food processor or a blender, blend them all together, and then pour them into your mixing bowl. Next, you will want to sit down at your computer and print out the recipe card. Once you have printed out the recipe card, you simply take your prepared mixture and fold it in half. Next, you will cut the recipe card in half again and spread out the half of the mixture that is left on the card onto your prepared baking sheet. Then, you will cut your prepared recipe card into thirds and spread the third half of the mixture onto your baking sheet.
Next, you will put the prepared pancakes into the oven or stove. Depending on what you like, you might want to set the oven to 350 degrees or simply bake the pancakes until they are done. Once they are done, you will take a small serving of the mixture and place it into one of your empty jars. Then, you will take a tablespoon or so of the vegan cinnamon powder and mix it into the jar of ketchup. After that, you will put a teaspoon or two of the vegan butter into the jar of marinara sauce and mix them together. Finally, you will put in a whole lot of the prepared mixture into your large Tupperware container, close the lid, and put it in the fridge.
Then, all you have to do is microwave the entire mix for about ten minutes. Once you have done this, you will heat up the vegan ranch mix and spread it into the pancakes, making sure to use a little bit of the prepared cinnamon mixture to help seal in some of the flavors. After you have made sure the mixture is completely baked, you can now serve your guests. Typically, I like to serve warm since my last guests were in a hurry. However, if you are not too worried about consuming it too quickly, you can serve the pancakes cold for an even better tasting treat!
